In this two-day course, participants will be challenged to explore Agile and Scrum principles to better understand what to do when applying Scrum to support their teams and organizations. Developed by Scrum.org, the course uses a combination of teacher-led and activity-based learning where students work together in teams. Professional Scrum Trainers (PSTs) bring their own Scrum Master experiences and stories to the course and use their skills as professional trainers to deliver the material with their own unique delivery style. The result is an engaging, fun learning experience in which participants gain a deep understanding of Scrum theory and principles, the responsibilities of the Scrum Master, and why each element of the Scrum framework is important. Participants will leave this course with an appreciation for Professional Scrum, the agile mindset, and dealing with common myths and barriers to agility. You will gain the knowledge and understanding of how to select and apply the appropriate practices and techniques that are most beneficial to your Scrum Teams. He has 12 years of experience in Agile, and is passionate about helping companies around the world achieve their full potential during their Agile journey, especially management and product owners. In order to lay the foundation for an agile world, he has been teaching Agility and Scrum at the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences since 2016. Anastasios has been supporting the community since 2014 with one of the best agile conferences in Germany, Scrum Germany.
